This project started during the pandemic time and the idea is to generate music through the multiple ways of sampling and processing a piano, where everything that sounds is born from those processes but never executed from a real piano, this concept is somewhat aesthetically minimalist and with certain sonic limits helped me shape what I call today “Deconstructing a Piano”.
During few months, every morning, just after waking up, I recorded an improvisation—still lingering in that dreamlike state.
After two months, I listened back to those recordings: more than seven hours of music. I selected the pieces that resonated most with me, and thus, Oneiric Soundscapes was born—a sonic journey into the magical space between dreams and wakefulness.
